Harbour Series

City, sea, and the stories in between

Vancouver's waterfront is never just one thing

Whether you are at Jericho Beach, English Bay, or the shores of Stanley Park, the ocean anchors everything around it. Children building sandcastles at the water's edge, dogs racing across the tidal flats, kayakers, paddleboarders, and sailboats dotting the coastline, all sharing the same grey-blue frame as the cargo ships, steady and indifferent to everything.

The Harbour series began here, in the unlikely mix that is Vancouver's waterfront. Rendered in bold colour, layered light, and expressive brushwork, each piece finds the quiet story inside a moment you recognize perhaps before knowing why.

These are paintings about the places that stay with us long after we have left them.
