I have been here before
The familiar, seen anew

Painting, photography, and digital art inspired by the places we return to
Here, Again
I am a Vancouver-based artist whose constant subject is the city and everything that surrounds it. Jericho Beach at low tide, Pacific Spirit Park through the changing seasons, the Sea-to-Sky and the islands and inlets beyond. They are familiar landscapes, and that is precisely what draws me back.
My work begins with a photograph and moves through layers of digital painting and acrylic before it finds its final form. Sometimes it ends on canvas. Sometimes on a resin-finished wood panel that deepens the colour and shifts with every hour of light. Always it begins with a moment that asked to be interpreted.
If you have ever stood somewhere familiar and felt something shift, a quality of light, a pause in the noise, the sudden sense that you are seeing a place for the first time, that is where my work lives.
Picture Perfect
A commitment to quality extends to how I share my art. I take a hands-on approach, whether creating original acrylic paintings, producing giclée prints and or resin artworks. With a focus on craftsmanship and a dedication to sourcing Canadian-made materials, each piece reflects my vision of responsible and mindful production.
